I'm the youngest from a large North Wales family. Born in Leicester but lived in other cities across the UK.
I've spent over 25 years working in public services, mainly with communities distanced from mainstream society. Previous roles include working within drug and alcohol agencies, youth offending teams, LGBTQ+ specialist services, bereavement support, and the local governance office. These roles have provided me with strong, rounded skills in knowing how to be with people when things feel chaotic, how to listen without judgement, and how to work with the messy, complicated reality of people's lives.
I've always been interested in how we function as human beings, how we respond to adversity, and how we cope. That curiosity led me to qualify as a counsellor in 2015, and what started as part-time work has become my full focus. I know from my own experience of personal counselling that simply having a safe space to talk about difficult thoughts and feelings can make a significant difference.

I offer a free 25-minute initial consultation. It's a chance to ask questions, talk about what's bringing you to counselling, and see if we're a good fit. No pressure. No commitment.
